Purchase deed
A purchase contract offers extra security
Found the perfect home? Then of course you want to be sure everything regarding the purchase of your new home is taken care of. The agreements between you and the seller are best recorded in a purchase deed. You are not required to have a notary take care of the purchase deed, but it does give you extra security.
Purchase deed by your notary
Signing a purchase deed is not without consequences. As a buyer, you have three business days to think about it, but after that time, you’re stuck with the purchase. Your notary advises you in recording conditions precedent (cancellation clauses). These will for instance state that the deal is off if you can’t get a fitting mortgage. Or that the deal is dissolved if the inspection shows that you would need to renovate too much of the house.
Your life. Your home. Your notary.
At your notary, your personal story is key. Your notary listens, asks questions, clarifies, and gives you honest advice about the best purchase deed, for both the buying and the selling party. Your notary will act in the interest of both the buyer and the seller in the purchase deed.
